How we work
Governance, in plain terms.
We are a student group of the LSE Students' Union and bound by its rules on finance, membership and elections.
StructureTwo co-presidents and an executive committee, a lead for each of our eight divisions, and teams for our three headline events.
ElectionsExecutive positions are elected by members in the Spring Term. Sub-committee roles are appointed in the Autumn Term.
MembershipPurchased through the LSESU portal, and £5 for the year. The Law School buys membership for every student on one of its programmes — LLB, LLM, PhD, Law and Anthropology, and Law and Finance — so it costs them nothing.
FinanceHeld in an SU account. Sponsorship income funds the programme and the Social Mobility Fund. No committee member is paid.
ConstitutionReviewed and ratified annually with the SU. Read the 2026/27 constitution ↗
